Career Summary
I am an English For Special Purposes Expert, Communications Specialist, and Certified Management Consultant, currently en route to a Ph.D. in English (writing and rhetoric). I have 23 years of combined experience in executive management, English education, curriculum design, business development, marketing communications strategy, research communications, project management, and writing coaching; with strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and leadership skills.

Based on my TESOL research experience, I see that there are common underlying proficiency models between English and additional languages. This presents critical thinking skills that can be leveraged to produce better academic writing. My teaching philosophy is to create a cognitively enabling environment for learners to utilize English vocabulary in writing outcomes that creatively model the form, structure, and rhetorics of written communication.
